The high-power passive subwoofer, BL18S, completes the CBL series from Blaze Audio and is specifically crafted to integrate seamlessly with the CBL523 and CBL528 constant beamwidth loudspeakers, providing a complete full-range audio system that enhances sound quality and performance for small to medium-sized venues that require scalable and versatile low-frequency solutions.

Designed primarily for free-standing installations, the BL18S features an 18-inch bass driver housed in a reflex-loaded enclosure, delivering low-frequency bandwidth down to 31 Hz at -10 dB, with maximum sound pressure levels reaching 136 dB at 1 m. Multiple BL18S subwoofers can be installed in stacked pairs and configured via amplifier presets to deliver either omnidirectional or cardioid directivity characteristics, ensuring exceptional sound distribution.

For optimal performance, the BL18S should be driven solely by Blaze Audio’s PowerZone™ Connect amplifier 3004 or higher, with the appropriate speaker presets configured.

Multiple BL18S subwoofers can be installed in arrays and configured via amplifier presets to deliver either omnidirectional or cardioid directivity characteristics, ensuring exceptional sound distribution.

For added convenience, the BL18S comes equipped with optional casters that can be fitted to the rear panel, facilitating easy handling and installation in hybrid venues.
