Firmware: Blaze Audio Wall-S1 controller

Introducing the latest firmware update for the Blaze Audio Wall-S1 controller.

With this update, you can expect to experience upgraded functionality and take advantage of all the new improvements
and enhanced features of your Blaze Audio Wall-S1 controller.

Please note that Blaze Audio Wall-S1 controllers are only compatible with Blaze Audio PowerZone Connect™ amplifiers running firmware version 1.3.0 or later.

To avoid any installation and configuration issues, we recommend updating the firmware installed on your Blaze Audio PowerZone Connect™ amplifier before attempting to install and configure the Blaze Audio Wall-S1 controller

Features & Improvements:

Info page on long press

Given the user does a long press on button, then the user would be able to select an information page “Info”, to see the following:

  • Model name
  • IP mode (Static / DHCP)
  • IP address/mode
  • MAC address of the device
  • Firmware version 
Network menu updated

Given the network mode is set to “DHCP”, then the following information is not shown:

  • IP address
  • Mask
  • Gateway
Add “Hold button to exit” option in Pin code menu

When prompted for a pin code, the user can then hold down the button and ensure a return to the menu.

“Power up amplifier” if “Settings only” option is selected

If the Wall S1 is configured to “Settings only” pin code option, and the user wants to turn on the amplifier, then the user will be allowed to do so.

Chinese characters

It is now possible to insert Chinese characters in the input or the Zone on the amplifier, which will then be reflected on the Wall S1. The supported Chinese characters can be found on the link below:
