PowerZone™ Connect 2U series

The PowerZone™ Connect 2U series is a line of ultra-reliable, full-matrix DSP-enabled Class-D amplifiers that delivers exceptional system configuration and flexible output, with a total system power ranging from 1000 W to 6000 W. The PowerZone™ Connect 2U series powers both conventional low-impedance (2 Ω to 16 Ω) loudspeakers and constant voltage (70 V/100 V) transformer-coupled loudspeakers, and features proportional distribution in both Lo-Z and Hi-Z modes. Specific models of the PowerZone™ Connect 2U amplifiers offer compatibility with Audinate Dante™ AoIP networks and installations.

Our intuitive PowerZone™ Control web app is built into all our PowerZone™ Connect amplifiers for easy system setup. PowerZone™ Control facilitates effortless customization of even the most challenging audio/voice systems by delivering many DSP configuration options and tuning features, including multizone setup, input mixing, priority and ducking, restriction, input and output EQ, S/PDIF output routing, high-pass filter, speaker presets, delay, Wall-S1 controller configuration, Sine generator, and much more.

features

4 Channels, Dante

The S/PDIF is a 2-channel output that can be used to send either a fixed line-source (2 mono or 1 stereo) out to another amplifier or one or two mixers, or expand a zone with extra amplifiers using a variable S/PDIF lineout signal that follows a stereo zone (or two mono zones).

How many amplifiers can I link with the S/PDIF?

The S/PDIF is normally used to expand a “zone” with more amplifiers if more power is needed. Up to 4 amplifiers can be linked together. Signal loss can occur if more amps are connected. (Use 75-ohm signal cable as described in the manual)

Do I have to bridge outputs for 100V mode?

Yes, when 100-volt outputs are wanted in the web GUI, two output channels are used to achieve High-Z. (see the manual and on the back of the amplifier, how to connect the speaker cables)

Where can I get the software to configure the DSP inside the Connect amplifiers?

The software (Firmware) is already inside the amplifier. Just connect to the amplifier using a web browser (see IP address in the manual), and the configuration can start from any device that has a browser.

Can I use 3rd party devices to control Blaze amplifiers?

Yes, we have an open API document, meaning all settings can be controlled from 3rd party devices via the LAN connection. The latest API document can be downloaded here. We even support the most popular brands with API “plug-ins” that can be downloaded from our website here

How do I adjust the amplifier's gain for optimal sound levels?

The end-user can control the zone volume (gain) via the Wall-S1 wall controller. The installer can use the intuitive installation web app to adjust all input and output gains, set the input sensitivity, and adjust the gain/trim for every input/output.
